Molykote D708 Anti-Friction Coating

it is recommended to stir well. All surfaces should be cleaned and degreased before application. This innovative coating is formulated to be applied by either dip coating or spraying. The thickness of the film needs to be between 5-15 microns for the material to properly work. Viscosity can be adjusted by diluting the coating with a methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) solvent. This product is well suited for automotive applications as well as many others, but it has not been tested nor deemed suitable as an anti-friction coating for pharmaceutical and medical applications. When handling this coating, it is strongly recommended to read and understand the proper precautions and storage information on the Molykote D-708 MSDS. The anti-frication coating will have a shelf life of 6 months when kept in its original, sealed container at a temperature above -18 degrees Celsius.
